Rock On 2, which released today, has received a below average startÂ at the box office. This musical drama opened to aroundÂ 15%Â (or even less than that) occupancy in the morning shows.
This kind of opening was pretty much expected from the film, since the overall pre-release buzz around the film was not very great. The music has turned out to be a huge disappointment, besides the trailer too hadÂ witnessed lukewarm response from the audience.
Rock On 2’sÂ box office growth could only rely on the word of mouth, which can be a game changer if it flows positive.Â Its targetÂ audience is mostly youth, based in metro cities. So the film should show substantial growth in multiplexes and cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and so on.
