In “a celebration to say thank you,” the Pokemon Go team has updated its ever-popular app to provide double XP and stardust for in-game actions between November 23 and November 30.
The team made the announcement via the Pokemon Go updates page, where they reiterated their desire to create “experiences that encourage exploration and promote exercise.”
The Pokemon Go devs have been working on a number of features designed to keep players engaged of late: daily bonuses arrived a couple of weeks ago to reward players who play everyday, while a teardown of a recent APK file suggested that an influx of 100 new Pokemon could be on the horizon.
The Pokemon Go double XP and stardust bonus begins at 00:00 UTC on November 23. Let us know in the comments if Niantic’s updates have kept you playing Pokemon Go regularly.
